Ingredients of Sweet Potato Chickpea Tots
- 3 cups grated and chopped sweet potato
- 2 flax seeds
- 1/2 cup yeast
- 2 tablespoons quinoa flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons hummus
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt + pepper
How to Make Sweet Potato Chickpea Tots
Grate two large sweet potatoes.
Once grated, measure out three cups and give them a quick chop.
Add the sweet potato to a kadhai and steam for 5 minutes until tender.
Whisk together flaxseed meal and water and set aside.
Add the remaining ingredients, including the flax eggs, starting with just 1 tablespoon of hummus.
Stir together until it forms a dough.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and form the dough into small balls or tots.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
