I love making apple appetizers. This no-fuss recipe makes plenty, so it’s great for a football party or holiday gathering, just serve with toothpicks.
1 12oz pkgal fresco Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage (4 links)
2 tbspolive oil
1 cup apple, delicious, Macintosh or Granny Smith (quartered pieces)
1 cupyogurt (optional)
Slice al fresco chicken sausages into ½” pieces and Sauté chicken sausage in a large skillet in olive oil for approximately 2 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from heat and slice on the bias, 1/2″ pieces.
Skewer one sausage piece and one apple piece with a toothpick.
Place on a plate and serve with Yogurt for dipping.
